Surviving!!!
And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19
It has been a tough winter…especially if you are a honey bee! Dealing with the below freezing temperatures they somehow manage to keep the center of their cluster 91 degrees all winter long. To do this they need food, found in the honey comb stored for their use. I went to the hive yesterday with my friends Tom and Pam, to check on the bees and was encouraged to see hundreds of them flying all around the hive entrance. However when I opened the hive, there were thousands upon thousands of lifeless bees, sadly clustered right near the top of their honey frames having run out of honey and succumbing to the cold.
Take out the trash!
S
o Christ has really set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law. Gal 5:1
Have you ever noticed how the kitchen trash always seems to be overflowing when you have something to toss? Whether it is under the sink, in a compactor or free standing in its own container, I find myself playing the “How much can I stuff into the trash before getting caught” game.
Ever played?
A hero in a leather jacket.
But God has shown me that I should never think of anyone as inferior. Acts 10:28-29
Ever met a real hero and not realized it? Truth be told, it happens every day!
Every Relationship begins with “R”
Show respect for everyone. Love your brothers and sisters. Fear God. 1 Peter 2:17
Aretha caught our attention: “R-E-S-P-E-C-T find out what it means to me…”, so what does it mean???
According to the dictionary respect looks like this: re⋅spect: esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability: “I have great respect for her judgment."
You only get one chance!
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do well to all people…Gal 6:9-10
You only get one chance to make a first impression!
People make up their mind as to what an experience, visit, procedure or person will be like in a matter of seconds…and they do it in less time than it took to read this sentence!
Seven seconds is the average length of time you have to make a first impression. In that brief window of opportunity you have to demonstrate immediately that the other person, not you, is the center of action and conversation.
