Donor Egg Program

Becoming an Egg Donor

Thank you for your interest in becoming an egg donor at Reproductive Medicine and Infertility (RMI) at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. We frequently see patients who have undergone premature menopause, survived cancer therapy, carry genetic diseases or who, because of their age, may have diminished reproductive efficiency. You have the potential to positively impact the lives of these future mothers and fathers and we appreciate your willingness to share in their hope. Please review the criteria for egg donation below.

To be eligible, you must:
• Be between 21 and 32 years old
• Have medical insurance
• Have a healthy medical and genetic history
• Have a healthy, non-smoking lifestyle
• Be willing to participate in the in vitro fertilization process, which includes clinic visits, vaginal ultrasounds, blood tests, and injections.

If you meet the above criteria, please use the link below to fill out our online information questionnaire. Our third-party reproductive nurse will be contacting you to review your information and perform a health-screening interview.
