Driving Program

There are circumstances in a person's lifetime that can affect their ability to drive safely.

The driving program at Shawnee Mission Medical Center offers a comprehensive driving evaluation to help you determine whether it is safe to continue driving following an injury, illness or age related change.

We are committed to keeping seniors and individuals with physical disabilities independent and safe drivers for as long as possible.

Clients with a physical, visual, or memory deficit, which interferes with their driving, are eligible with a physician referral. All services are provided by an Occupational Therapist Certified in Driving Rehabilitation.

For more information, call the Driving Program at Shawnee Mission Medical Center at 913-676-7655.

Our hours are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
