Ann Short, LRT, R, CV
During her 36 years as an employee of the Radiology department, Ann has been actively involved in the revolutionary advancements in diagnostics. Since becoming a Registered Radiologic Technologist in Colorado Springs, Colo., her career has traveled full circle, from working in diagnostics, to holding a multifaceted position combining Interventional Radiology and CT, to specializing in Interventional Radiology, and back to Diagnostic Radiography. She has served in a leadership role for three years and proudly touts the department’s reputation as a pioneer in bringing technologically advanced procedures to the Kansas City area. In her leisure time, she is actively involved in her church and enjoys spending time with her parents, husband and three grown sons.
Our technologists have in-depth experience in the wide range of diagnostic services we offer, including X-ray, CT, MRI, Breast MRI, Mammography, Bone Density Testing, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Procedures. All are highly trained, having completed the required instruction and testing necessary for membership in the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Many have earned Bachelor’s degrees and/or certificates in their areas of specialty, as well.
