NextMD – Connecting with your doctor.

The Shawnee Mission Physicians Group (SMPG) now offers patients the convenience of communicating with their health care provider online. Via a secure online portal, patients can review their health information and correspond with their provider with a click of the mouse.

With NextMD:

• Request or confirm an appointment
• View billing statements
• Receive test results
• View medications and request prescription refills
• Correspond with your provider electronically.

To enroll, your clinic will provide a login information sheet and an eight-digit code, or enrollment token. This token will be your key into the NextMD website where you will confirm your identity and complete the enrollment process. If you are interested, simply ask your provider to sign you up at your next visit or call your participating practice.
