Robotics at RMI
RMI is pleased to join the Shull Institute for Surgical Robotics at Shawnee Mission Medical Center (SMMC). Colleen Milroy, MD, is the only REI subspecialist in Kansas City offering robotic myomectomies, robotic endometriosis resections and tubal reanastamosis. Robotic surgeries benefit patients with less pain, faster recoveries and better long-term results. SMMC was the first hospital in the five-state area to begin using the da Vinci® Surgical System in 2002 and is currently the only hospital in Johnson County with this technology.
