Shawnee Mission, KS –- Jack Wagner has been appointed by Adventist Health System as the interim President/CEO for Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Wagner, who currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Shawnee Mission Medical Center, will officially begin dual responsibilities at the 504-bed facility on Monday, December 5, 2011 and will remain in the position until a permanent replacement is found.
"The Board of Trustees for Shawnee Mission Medical Center is pleased that Jack has accepted to serve in this role ,” said Rich Reiner, Board Chairman and president and CEO of the Adventist Health System Multi-State Division. “Jack is a seasoned healthcare executive and since he is already serving in a senior leadership position there it makes for a seamless transition that provides continuity and consistency as we search for the next CEO," added Reiner.
