Shawnee Mission Endocrinology & Diabetes Welcomes New Physician
MERRIAM, Kan. - M. Yaser Mounla will begin seeing patients at Shawnee Mission Endocrinology & Diabetes on August 3.
Mounla is a 2001 graduate of the University of Aleppo School of Medicine in Syria. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky and his fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism from the University of Louisville in June 2009.
“We look forward to the addition of Dr. Mounla to the Shawnee Mission Endocrinology & Diabetes staff, as this will greatly ease patient scheduling while continuing the goal of providing team-focused, state-of-the-art care,” said Gregory Sweat, MD, Medical Director for the Shawnee Mission Physicians Group.
