SMMC 50th Anniversary Gala

The 50th Anniversary Gala is Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.  Our event begins promptly at 5:30 p.m. with a reception, musical program, and dinner.  Please pick up your registration packet in the Kauffman Center Founders’ Lounge, at the top of the escalator.  Your packet will contain the program and your seat numbers in Helzberg Hall and your table number for the gala dinner.

We have a few other details to share:

Complimentary parking is available in the Kauffman Center Parking Garage.  Please enter the garage from 17th Street or Wyandotte Street.  Use the central elevators or stairs to go up to the Center.

There is road construction on a stretch of I-35 between Cambridge Circle and I-670 resulting in the two left lanes being closed in this short stretch (two right lanes are open).  We would advise that if you are arriving from the south, stay in the far right lane.  This lane will eventually become an exit-only lane for Broadway (the best street to exit I-35) and leads directly to the Kauffman Center. 

This is an invitation only event.  If you did not RSVP, we may not have space because seating for dinner is limited to 500 people.  If you have any questions about this, please call the Foundation for SMMC office at 913 676-2055.
