Shawnee Mission Urgent Care is lead by Board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners who ensure the most-effective and compassionate care for our patients. In addition to the full-time health care providers listed below, Shawnee Mission Urgent Care is also supported by additional Shawnee Mission Physicians Group doctors.

Robert Brown, DO

Robert Brown, DO, serves as the Medical Director of Shawnee Mission Urgent Care and CorporateCare Occupational Medicine Network. He earned his medical degree from the University of Health Services College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo., and completed his Family Medicine residency at Rocky Mountain Hospital in Denver. He is Board-certified in Family Medicine.  

Matthew Almaguer, MD

Matthew Almaguer, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed a Family Medicine residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Co. He is Board-certified in Family Medicine.

Craig Brown, MD

Craig Brown, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Neb., and completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Illinois. He is Board-certified in Family Medicine.

Melinda Cerra, ARNP

Melinda Cerra, ARNP, is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Washburn University and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Kansas School of Nursing.

Eloisa Sarol, ARNP

Eloisa Sarol, ARNP, is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her bachelor’s  and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Kansas School of Nursing.
