|Activity||All sessions will meet from 6-8 p.m. (EXCEPT February session, which is 8-10 a.m.) at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Conference Room A. Classes with an asterisk (*) will be at the Shawnee Mission Outpatient Pavilion at K-7 and Prairie Star Parkway in western Lenexa.|
The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program at Shawnee Mission Medical Center is designed to develop proficiency in a variety of clinically oriented patient care settings. Our mission is to integrate the pharmacy practice resident with a variety of disciplines within the patient care team. Upon completion of the residency, the candidate will have the skills and experience needed to perform at the highest level within the profession. The residency emphasizes independent thinking and application of clinical concepts in the development of progressive clinical services.

All applications must be submitted through phORCAS. A Curriculum Vitae, transcript, letter of intent, and three letters of recommendation are required.
Application Deadline - All application materials are due by January 1st.
Interview Dates - On-site interviews may be scheduled between January 25 and March 3. Note that Tuesdays and Thursdays are preferred interview days. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis to accommodate out-of-town candidates and to coordinate with other interviews in the Kansas City area.
