Critical Care Services Expansion
The Future of Health Care
The Critical Care Services Expansion design was made with the comfort of patients and families in mind. From dedicated hallways for transportation of patients to assure privacy to larger rooms in the intensive care and critical care units that offer a place for loved ones to spend the night, acknowledge the importance of family in the healing process.
Services
- 40-bed Emergency Department
- 28 intensive care beds
- 32 acuity-adaptable cardiac care beds, enabling all levels of treatment to take place in one room
- Four advanced-technology operating suites added to the existing 13 operating rooms
- 32-beds in the Ambulatory Care Unit
- 22-beds in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
- GI/Endoscopy Lab
The Chapel
The Chapel is an open glass area overlooking a garden that offers an inviting space for meditation and reflections. Intimate enough for private prayers the Chapel can double in size with the help of a moveable wall.
Healing Garden
The Healing Garden, located outside the Chapel, provides an area for patients, family members and visitors to meditate.
